Žuta je boja sunca, sreće, cvijeća i svježine. Žuta boja jednako tako može predstavljati i oprez i ljubomoru. U kombinaciji s crnom bojom žuta daje jako dobar kontrast i vidljivost što se često koristi u prometu, ali i u odijevanju. Žuta se tumači i kao boja za djecu, kao topla, nestabilna i spontana boja.
