Previše plave opet može pobuditi osjećaje dosade, melankolije i tuge. Žuta je boja sunca, sreće, cvijeća i svježine. Žuta boja jednako tako može predstavljati i oprez i ljubomoru. Nijanse žute boje su limun-žuta, zlatno-žuta, kremasta, boja senfa, banane ili žuti oker.
